Unknown gunmen, last night, killed Mr. Chuks Ihuoma, Deputy General Manager, Integrated Logistics Services, INTELS, a major oil servicing firm, and one of the concessionaires for the Nigeria Ports Authority.
Unknown gunmen, last night, killed Mr. Chuks Ihuoma, Deputy General Manager, Integrated Logistics Services, INTELS, a major oil servicing firm, and one of the concessionaires for the Nigeria Ports Authority.
P.M.News learnt that Ihuoma was shot at point blank range as he was about entering his house, at the Rumeibekwe Housing Estate, near Shell Petroleum Developing Company Residential Area, Port Harcourt.
It was gathered that nine expended shells of AK47 rifle were picked up at the scene of the dastardly act. Nothing was removed from him. It was learnt that he was quickly rushed to Eli-Johnson Hospital, in Port Harcourt, but was pronounced dead.
Security agents are currently trying to unravel the circumstances surrounding his death. He was said to have left behind the security details officially attached to him at the time of the incident.
A top management staff of INTELS, who pleaded that his name should not be in print, said: 'I am too shocked. No comment. I don't have any comment please …I don't know. I'm too shocked to say anything.'
